The gateProtect firewall server is based on open-source software, combined with the gateProtect-software.
The open-source part is available for free under consideration of the open-source licenses and is offered under the license conditions of the GNU Public License (GPL), gateProtect-software will be delivered under the gateProtect-general terms of business.

Open-source is used for the reliability and quality of software and allows an independent inspection and fast development of the source code. gateProtect is convinced of the open-source model and supports the open-source community actively.
