gateProtect will be presenting the new generation 8.0 of its UTM (Unified Threat Management) Firewall appliances for the first time at CeBIT 2008. The update puts users in a position to configure and safeguard network, email communication and Remote Access as time-effectively as possible. Thanks to new features, the process-oriented user prompt reduces the risk and cost of administrators, while at the same time implementing the green information-technology criteria. As a world premiere,  gateProtect will also be introducing Command Center V2 at the CeBIT, the new version of its successful administration software for the central management of worldwide circulated firewalls. It is the only solution on the market up to now that not only allows passive reporting but gives the administrator full configuration control over all circulated firewalls.

The gateProtect stand is located in the newly created Security Area in Hall 6, Stand K14 from 4th - 9th March.
